Rivet meets Duffy buying pig's blood in bulk at a butcher shop in Ezeldain Kingdom, and is convinced he's a vampire like her, despite his protest. Rivet shows Duffy her abandoned stable (aptly dubbed The Un-stable) and its rehabilitated horses, and allows him to use them for transportation from then on.

Duffy attempts to explain the whole Chastice and Pinocchio II ordeal to her, but the information is kinda lost on her. She's much too excited at the prospect of making a vampire friend around her age, even if it's not the truth.

Throughout the story, she consistently sticks her nose in Duffy's business and introduces herself to people around him, checking up on her new "vampire friend" - though if you asked Duffy, he'd doubtfully call even call her an acquaintance.
